Consider me confused. I just played the first round of the classic pro event. Just did everything I normally do and everything worked perfectly as usual. Score accepted and showing .
Then after I saw the message about the change in server which I had no clue about. Should it have worked without me doin* anything?

edit; ok... the patch was made but not posted that it is updated, but no flight tourney and according to the site the last post here was last night.

lstouradmin wrote:To play on the new server:

1. Open the Windows Registry Editor (regedit.exe)
2. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Microsoft Games\Links 2003\LinksTour
3. Double click on the Server key and change the value from http://www.lspn.net to server.lspn.net
4. Close the Registry Editor
5. Start Links 2003 and you will be connected to the new server

I'm in now. I see this registry change is also required now that testing is over and the switch is complete.

There is no need to make any server changes - that was only to test before the move. It should have been seemless. That being said, if you had "server.lspn.net" set in your registry, you can leave that as is since both will work now (server.lspn.net or http://www.lspn.net)

Thank you, but I'm still left wondering what it was all about if we didn’t need to do anything. Heyho it’s off to the T again.

Upon completion of 2 events ( 1 each DP World and The World) I got a "duplicate tree" error when exiting Links. Stats seem to have been submitted fine. Since I may be the first to complete events, I thought I'd mention it.

Thanks
