Internet Explorer 7 Final was released a few days back. I have by no means been a fan of Internet Explorer in the past, but this is one slick little browser I must say.

i hafta say ie7 is kinda snazzy when compared to the old mosaic days. but, unfortunately, that's as far as my enthusiasm goes for it. for one thing, i've gotten really accustomed to customizing ff and opera. nothing really you can do to ie. not to mention ie still fails the ol' acid2 test. ie is still woefully lacking.

but thanks for the heads up.

Gave it a try and didn't like it. Went back to IE6.

With Windows Fundamentals for Legacy PCs ( Its a kind of corporate version of XP - I mostly use that for games we have it at work - It takes very little resources to run it ) you get the option to install Internet Explorer ( Outlook Express is tangled in there also ) Windows Messenger and Media Player, its your choice.

Thats the way all operating systems should be in my opinion. One should be able to install only the features they want, and not be forced to use the features you dont want.
