Can somebody explain to me what happened on this putt? Was this an invisible buried green lie?

Wow it came to a screeching halt. Anika needed more wheaties on that
putt. I did not notice anything wrong. A glitch in the game maybe.

Sadly I’ve never worked out how to view shots like this. There seem to be a few weird things happening lately though. I’ve had a plugged fairway lie and invisible trees or aliens.

It shows a left handed 'new eric ani' hitting a 7 ft. putt, 4 and a half dots on the red meter putter and traveling 32 inches on medium slow conditions. I blame this squarely on the course designer Stewart Parker. Although it shows green and the caddie gives a putter it evidently was rough.
In the course description: "The greens are a soft green hemmed in by rough all around Screenshots 2, 6, 8".
Me thinks them hems should be rechecked.

Sounds exactly right. I'm guessing when the ball stopped the was some kind of exclamtion ringing out in your house followed by a bewildered stare at the green as you waited for the referee to allow you to take the putt again.
