I downloaded it. Since it appears to be arguably the hardest par 3 course i have seen i'm in.

the raw does get those par 3, not too often and some very wicked greens :mrgreen: and yet i always venture back he he

thank you Echoes for the explanation of how to join and this week might be a good one to skip for golfers so no discouragement ;}

Echoes, nice second round. Had a few bendy putts that I didn't guess correctly for sure. A couple I thought that maybe a little double breaker but no, wasn't the case.

Thanks Jim, It helps that even before the Greenkeeps days i thought the grid was ugly and played without it only using the bli until a year or two after the mod came along.

That was kind of fun. That was one tough par 3 course. I hit a few just short of the green, (those close to the front pins) and the ball just liked to skip past the hole quite a ways. Echoes made all his 0 to 10' putts where I missed 5 from that range. That's what kind of made the difference. I know a few of those were quite breaky. Plus Echoes and twice as many chip-ins. A nice test and congrats to Echoes. Will you know who play this week? It was fun not having to adjust for your stance before hitting your shot to the green. Just aim and fire so to speak.

redskin and frank bawn i think of here, but if there is a record i have hardly ever missed one of these raw thingies ( gets cold btw)

so glad three finish this week at least and 6 participants may break the score board

I did indeed. From clueless in round 1 to much improved in the end but there’s no doubt the pin positions helped a lot.

Playing and enjoying RAW again at Huntingdale this week. Until late into round 3 and suddenly Links had to close down!
What the... Then I remembered that's the message I always got for using the GA on some courses. Weird that I was near the end of round 3 and had been using the GA all the time.

It's RAW and I need to get a look at the green and what sort of lie the approach shot would find. But yes I looked back and Huntingdale is one of the courses that has ( at least sometimes) this issue

Sorry you had issues roy, that can get frustrating.

it is rare that is use the ga but certainly understand you want to know the lay of the land before you get there.

53 55 53 pretty nice numbers ;}~

Frustrating is the word. My more regular problem is when the screen just freezes ( 3 times this week) but this one annoys me most. Hard to understand why it wasn’t a problem in round 1 as I was using it on every hole. I regularly use the GA before I hit tee shots , especially when the greens are so soft as it might determine how far back I hit the approach shot
