I'm sure the c/c event on Pelican will certainly be challenging lol. Those greens, some holes especially, will be fun

I promise, never again on Pelican Hill. It was a fluke this time. I forgot that it was a week off for the PGA Tour and had not submitted a tourney to Mark for this week. He caught my lapse and put in an old Safeway Open.

My fault totally. Pelican Hill could be a great course if someone went in and redid/cleaned up over the Microsoft version.

Wasn’t as bad as I feared and I was delighted I got away with a par on 18. Expected my third to roll back to my feet but somehow it stayed close. M/F green still to come though.

In Round 4, I purposely hit to the lower portion of the green/fringe, then chipped to the top. Got away with par. Actually chipped to a gimme or I may have putted it right back down the hill.

My attempt in round 4 was a joke. Decided to play safe off the T using a 3W. A horror snap ( happens all to often when I try to play safe) and found dry grass! Hacked out to a fairway and then his what I thought was a good 7 iron but weirdly it only went 145 yards and into rough. Chipping onto a downslope like that in c/c is never fun and I was amazed that it hardly ran down the slope and stopped waaay short. 2 putts fo a double bogey.
Playing safe isn’t the way to go.
