PLSA President's Cup

Postby GoesForIt on Wed Sep 25, 2024 7:14 am

Based on the people who've been playing, I came up with this Team a (Bold), Team B (italics)
Team A Team B
RoyHiggi DirkPitt
MasterMontgomery GoesForIt
archytas Albatros
Maximus420?

If more play, I'll try to ad them to teams. Regardless of how well you're playing, please finish all 4 rounds.

Playing the 10th at Royal Montreal I hit the T shot down the middle. Looked up to hit the approach and the Ani was there but half the body was missing as was the ball!!

I say half but it was probably from the shins down that was missing. The approach was 130 + to the pin and the caddy gave me a 7 iron. Has anyone seen this before? Didnt know what to do but switched the 7 to a 9 and hoped it would play as normal.

Not even close even though I nailed it. The shot went left and fortunately only about 40 yards or so and stopped in rough near the water. I'm sure i've seen a plugged lie in a fairway before but not this.

Look Higgi, we have to accommodate paraGolfers... it's the law... I think.

BTW, I'll accommodate Maximux420 if he finishes all 4 rounds. If teams become uneven we'll use average rather than total scores. It's all for fun anyway.

I would have said its time to reinstall the graphic drivers, but after reading this a couple of times hours apart i think you hit a seam and your ball was underground.
Carl Spackler might have been able to help

Let Team B down in Round #2. Every drive in the Deep Rough resulted in a bogey. RATS!!!! Every putt that missed the snap, even by the smallest fraction, missed.

I wish it was lmao. Dirk no doubt played great and had his snap going well. You can get away with a lot playing pro but not champ and especially in challenging mode. I started round 1 missing almost every snap for all the early holes before I could get it together. Have to get it right from the start in future rounds but Dirk will take some catching.

Well, archytas abandoned so I move albatros to Team A. I suspect Maximus420 will not play beyond Round #1 but you never know.

At least we have 6 who've completed Round #1. We'll see how it goes.
