Just now downloaded and installed both Austin Country Club & Cypress Point Club with no problems. (I use PeaZip to extract the files.)

Try using a different browser than the one you're having issues with, Firefox Edge Chrome etc.

Gib, without knowing what browser you're using (since I didn't see ir mentioned), I've used Firefox for years with no issues. For what it's worth.

using Chrome. Tried Edge and IE but same results. Finally remembered awhile back needing to use IE instead of Firefox when it acted up with zip folders. Made a recovery point for today so hopefully I have a restore point to go back to.

Gibby, put one of those bad zip files somewhere that I can get to it (dropbox?) and I'll try winzip and winrar on it, and also download it myself to see what I get. If nothing else, we might get a clue that we can pass on to Andy at LinksCorner.

Lost them all when I did a system recovery. I did try winzip, winar on them. All showed corrupted.
Don't think LC had the problem. Was able to download them onto my Ipad and open them, couldn't transfer them over to laptop.
So kind of knew LC wasn't issue. Got it fixed so I'm happy for now 8)

When you download a course, does it create a sub-directory with the contents of the zip file? It does for me. Then I just drag the .crz where i want it, and trash the rest. I don't go through any unzip process. Haven't for many years.

Did you message Andy to see of anyone is having trouble? I don't seem to be having any trouble, and I'll be glad to help if I can. :D

Download file click open and crz file, read me whatever else inside. Copy/paste into courses folder.
So far I’ve had to reinstall windows twice and reinstall all my programs.
1st time dl’d Austin to play, 2nd time Cypress Point, the 2 Xilver courses and the Banff course for Steve’s handicap event.
Made sure it was working b4 windows updates and tried again after updates.
Worked with Chrome and then Edge. Reinstalled everything, deleted the zip files, dl’d again and worked fine.
Tried later and nothing.
Everything I’m reading is a missing zip file extension in Explorer but who knows?
