APCD question

Postby GoesForIt on Thu Dec 18, 2014 12:52 pm

I've attached a screen shot.

I'm just getting started with APCD. I've listened to the first 16 YouTube videos on the subject.

I've tried to create a one hole test course. It seeems like I've done everything in the videos, but when I do the "Checklist" it continually says I need to "Insert Shapes Into Terrain"... which I feel I've done... at least according to the YouTube videos.

Anyone got any ideas?

You should check out the forum at Links Corner, there's a whole section on APCD with a ton of info.

Have you planted a tee and a pin? APCD expects that to make a hole playable in Links.

I have never inserted shapes. I always click on Advanced Settings when defining my hole paths

Then select the bottom option once there

I now remember Lez saying to click...

Create Hole Boundary Shape...

and when I did this one hold test course I forgot.

THANKS! BUNCHES

THANKS AGAIN. I got my single hole test to work and can now set about all remaining YouTube Videos and at least laying out the holes for my course.

Oh! And I got a birdie on my first hole... as the green was pan flat.
