ERROR : Invalid allocation, -1 bytes

I have been getting this Error message. Have to exit game. Any solution out there?????

first thing i would do is disable any sound scripts running. if that doesn't work, start links with links 2003 safe mode. that runs links with its most minimal graphics settings. if you're still crashing, reinstall/update the graphics driver. if all else fails, reinstall links (choose not to delete courses, a n i s, saved games, etc).
