Links crashes windows 8

Ever since upgrading to Windows 8, Links 2003 keeps crashing. What compatibility mode should I be using?

Right click on the Links2003 icon and run as Administrator and in WinXP Service Pack 3 compatibility.

I think I have resolved my issue. I have set the compatibility mode to windows 98/ME ! So far no problems.

When I run as administrator the game fires up. Where is this run in compatibility mode?

I ran the game one time in administration mode and now thats one only way I can start it. Anyway to change it back to the good ol 'double click start?
