error problems please help

i'm haveing a problem loading 2003 on a computer i keep getting this error msg

STOP : FAILED (0x80004001 - WINERR_Not implemented ) - Blt(Dest=0x1ba398 at 0,0 (156x24), Src=0xad11008 at 508,555 (156x24) Flags:)

can sumone please help me here

have you tried starting links in links 2003 safe mode (starts links with minimum graphics)? once you get links to start in safe mode, try normal mode. have you reinstalled links? have you disabled all but main sounds (corrupted sound file)? have you updated graphics drivers?

color me skeptical, kc. in the links corner thread, there aren't any mailman posts. it's kinda hard to tell anyone else over there has ever dissected a pc before.
