options problem to view LSPN events

Postby ds3224 on Thu Jun 07, 2007 11:56 am

I don't see any LSPN toury's listed. It says I have options preventing this. I have a check in every box under options. Can anyone tell me what I have to do? Thanks, Parman

ds, there's a little "submit query" box at the bottom of the window that you have to click before your choices become operational. lw

what options do you have checked? everyone gets this:

You have set options that affect the event list. To change your preferences click on the Options tab above.

oops. sorry. didn't see that in your initial post.

do you have a software firewall, e.g. zonealarm, where you're blocking third party cookies? with zonealarm, i have to allow private header information to be passed to log into these forums.

I still can't see any lspn events listed. Am I supposed to see them yet or are they not out yet?

well, sorry, ds, but i've failed to recreate your problem. i'm sure if i could duplicate what you're doing, i could fix it.

which brings me to another somewhat related matter. this morning i added http://www.lspn.net to the restricted list in internet explorer. i was erroneously under the impression adding sites to the restricted list blocks access to that site. not so. i wasn't able to login to http://www.lspn.net because of cookie restrictions on restricted sites, but i could still render the homepage, as well as see all of the tournaments.

lol. then, i couldn't un-delete http://www.lspn.net from the restricted list. http://www.lspn.net didn't show up in the list (i have a rather extensive blocked list) to delete. but i couldn't add it to the trusted list, nor could i login. so i ended up having to delete the restricted list entirely, and rebuilding the list.

btw, ds, you and i owe a particular site a paypal donation for 'borrowing' their restricted list. (8

edit#1: i guess what i would do now, is reinstall internet explorer. i'm not 100 percent sure off the top of my pointy head howto do that, but searching the ms knowledge base should give a few hints. if'n that's something you might wanna do, lettuce know.

ds, have you tried clearing out your cookies? or maybe just deleting any LSPN cookies?

thanks, steve, i keep forgetting to do that 1 oh 1. i tell my browser to delete all new cookies on exit, so it's not something i think about. but you're right, deleting ALL offline content/files is the best first step.
