another v1.05 upgade problem

Postby Kelsey on Sun Apr 01, 2007 8:53 am

I uninstalled Links 2003 , and then reinstalled Links 2003. I have done this several times and also have tried installing the new version v1.05 update every time. I do not have a download accelerator running. Every time I try to go online /Links Tour (I have changed it to http://www.lspn.net), it tells me I have an older version of Links and need to upgrade. Please help.

Thanks
Kelsey

You probably need to run the file 'LSTour_LSPN.exe'.

Thanks for replying Steve. I checked out both threads and did as recommended; it still wont let me in. Keeps saying I need to upgrade to v1.05. Which as I mentioned before I have tried several times to do so. Any more suggestions?

I have the same problem

Postby MIB_Quacker on Sun Apr 01, 2007 12:41 pm

recently got a new PC, reinstalled Links, ran update to 1.05 (confirmed) and even ran zone update. Welcome screen says I am connected to network, but once I try to login it says i need an update.

Sorry guys, I can only say that running that file fixed it for me when i had the same problem. Check carefully what it is saying you need to upgrade to. In my case it said 'version 1.10' which is not one of the patch updates. Kelsey, if it is definately saying you need 1.05 I would check the details from clicking 'about' in the game. If that confirms 1.05 (or even if it doesn't) you may have a bad download. I would try downloading and running it again. Tourbaby, your problem sounds exactly like mine, I would have thought that running 'LSTour_LSPN.exe' should have solved it. Sorry can't be more help.
