Links Sports.NET

Does anyone using Windows 10 play Links using compatability mode to an earlier operating system? Also, does anyone use Smart Game Booster before playing? Just curious. THANKS!

I run Links in Win 10 running as Administrator under Win XP and having zero issues. I don't use the booster you mention. I close all resource hogging background programs and it runs swimmingly.

I play Links on an Intel Core i5-2400 cpu@3.1 GHz, 8 GB of ram, Windows 10 OS with a budget video card (NVIDEA GeForce 8400GS), don't use any compatability mode, don't shut down any background programs, have all sounds enabled, and have absolutely no issues with the game.

I run in XP SP2 compatability mode and I have to use Smart Game Booster to get the game to run.

I use an old 10 yr old laptop that originally had windows 7, and upgraded it to windows 10 when there was a free upgrade years ago. My laptop only has a dual core 2.2GHz processor/ 3GB memory. I have zero problems with it, playing online with links. Been playing for years.

Thanks again, one and all. I appreciate the feedback, I've been playing this game before Links 98 came out. Ah, the good old days Haven't had a bit of trouble until I got urged to leave Windows XP Pro behind and come into the 21st century I haven't had this much frustration in the past 23 years or so. Hopefully, with your kind and infomative feeback (and the arrival of my new video card ), I can once again play worry free. THANKS AGAIN GUYS!!!
