Which Links subdirectory has the player photo in it?

Postby LACERS on Fri Mar 06, 2020 12:28 am

My SSD is partitioned into 2 Driver letters. I install all programs on the D: drive. I just had to reformat the C: drive because of a display issue with WIN 10 not showing all refresh rates available. I do not have the Links disks anymore. in times past when i would reformat, I would just created Links Launcher shortcut to the D drive location and that works to where I do not have to use the CD's. But this time after a reformat, when I opened Links 2003, it cannot find the player animation photos and won't let me create a player. Anyone know the Links Subdirectory which has the Player Animation photo? Thanks

Found this at LinksCorner. Not sure if it will help.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Links 2003

Sub-folders include 'CAREERMODE, COURSES, LINKSND, PolyAni, skies, WAVS

Mops and Players live here :-

C:\ProgramData\Links 2003

This folder may be hidden by default. You need to 'show hidden files, folders, and drives' in control panel's folder options.

Thanks to Bluenoser and Acrilix and others for providing this info on the old forum.
