Darn Windows 10 Updates

Even though I have the automatic updates shut off Microsoft managed to install 5 new critical Windows 10 updates and now my computer is slow and I can not play Links 2003 on it. I don't even get the option of uninstalling some of these updates. Before yesterday my frame rate was 31-34 and now it's at 24. Any advice would be appreciated. Do you think I need to uninstall Links and then reinstall it?

After making sure something didn't have my cpu at near 100% the 1st thing i would try is refreshing the graphic drivers.

I'll try that since that's what's messed up. I have black spots.

Uninstalled Links. Reinstalled Links and when I'm prompted to reinsert the #1 disc now the computer doesn't recognize it. Help please!!!!

Reinstalled Links 2003 and applied all the patches before I fired it up. I'm good to go. (for now)
