While it will be an improvement in the quality of your sound if your speakers are of quality, a dedicated sound card makes absolutely no difference with links.

Just a shot in the dark Mississippi since I'm not able to find any errors in sound files.

Well sound card is in and I've played two rounds without any problems.
I did take Gibby's advice and shut down the player's scripts while enabling the others.
Maybe this is/was the fix or maybe a combination of both - who knows.
I would like to thank all that chimed in to help :D

Can someone explain to me why when you are playing an online game and you send one of the hundreds of in game WAV files the game crashes or drops out 80% of the time?

Go back to page 1 and check the pics I put up, you could have multiple wav files overlapping or as Missippi says a bad wav file.
