WINDOWS 10 PROBLEM RUNNING LIKS 2003

I have just installed Links 2003 on my Windows 10 machine (upgraded from Windows 8.1). When I try to run Links 2003, after inserting disc 1, I get the following message "ACCESS DENIED - PLEASE LOGIN WITH ADMINISTRATOR PRIVILEGES AND TRY AGAIN. I then click ok and get a message to insert Links 2003 disc 1 in CD-rom drive. I then click OK and get "links cannot verify disc. please refer to read-me for further info. However I cannot access the read-me file and cannot get any further. Hope there is help for me to get this problem sorted out.

Been screwing with this for a week now. I found that after you to 1.07 patch install that message will go away.

Thanks for the info. I have installed the 1.07 patch and got my links 2003 running, but it is running very erratically. I tried bringing up some of the cams and they just flash on and off. The menu buttons on the bottom of the screen are very flake y. Any Ideas to fix these problems, hopefully?

A lot depends on which graphic card your using. But try right click your Links icon go into properties and try different compatibility modes, check your graphics card drivers are up to date.

I am also having a problem since I installed windows 10. My cameras are not working. they flash on then off. The play is also very slow.

Hello Gibby, I was away for a while, but got back today and solved my problem by changing the graphics settings to 1280 x 768 x 32 bit, from 800 x 600 x 16 bit. Now working perfectly. Want to thank you. Regards, Gary
