Corsair Wireless Headset caused Crashes/3D Acceleration err

Postby rl75019 on Tue Oct 06, 2015 10:10 am

As the title says.. Didnt know what the heck was going on. Reinstalled everything, reg hacks, and videotext hack.
Safe Mode as well.

Issue was I have a Wireless Corsair H2100 headset. Just having the Receiver plugged into the usb port was causing instant crashes and drwatson errors. I was also getting the 3D Acceleration having problems error as well. As soon as i unplug the receiver... issue resolved. Instant startups now and not one crash since.
Just found last night that even if im charging the headset by itself via usb without the receiver even plugged in it crashes instantly as well.

Summary: If your having sudden crashes remove all usb ports from computer then try again.

Have you tried plugging that headset into a different USB port?

Have you tried plugging something else into the USB port that caused the crash?
