getting started with new game Links2003 Championship Edition

i have loaded the game... i have run your updates
. i have register with links sports.net and got a player ID
i have upgraded my links to 1.05
... i tried to register the game but micro doesnt list it anymore...

i can play the tournements

but i can not play match play or direct connection ...

have i missed something ???
need assistance ..

have you heard of this be4... being able to play tourneys but not other part of the game??
i get to the direct connection site and i get to post a game but noone can join it
i get to the match maker area and join a game ... run the downloads that come up (2) and then conn fails

do you think this has anything to do with not being able to register the game???

checked out the suggestions above and i dont know about ports ... and the other one on how to play ... i have followed that ... still no results
