LSPN Moving to Amazon AWS Hosting

The LSPN server will soon be moved to a new hosting environment on Amazon AWS. Please feel free to try out events and Tour Directors please try creating events. Rounds played there will not count. The server is in testing mode only and will not affect your stats on the current live server.

To see the web site on the new host, you can use the temporary url of https://aws.lspn.net

To play on the new server:

1. Open the Windows Registry Editor (regedit.exe)
2. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Microsoft Games\Links 2003\LinksTour
3. Double click on the Server key and change the value from http://www.lspn.net to server.lspn.net
4. Close the Registry Editor
5. Start Links 2003 and you will be connected to the new server

Note: There are fewer events currently on the new server but feel free to create arcade events or play in the scheduled CLSC, HCAP, and FLHT events.

The server will be moved the evening of Jan 8th. I'll stop tournaments early around 6pm PST. Then I'll backup the database and move everything over in time for the new events starting on the 9th.
