How to Host a Game

1. Click on the icon in the upper right hand corner of the Games Box.
2. Change the number of players you'd like in a game
3. Change the room name, if desired
4. Enter a password if you'd like to keep the room private (not currently implemented)
5. Select a game to play
6. Click on Create Game

How to Join a Game

1. Click on a game from the Open Games box
2. When the start button appears, you can click it to start your game. (at this time it's best to wait a few seconds before clicking Start. A fix is in the works to make this automatic)
3. You will receive a download in your browser.
- If you have a pop-up blocker you may need to allow the download.
- Internet Explorer users, once you see the Run/Save box, click on Run. You will have to click Run twice.
- Firefox users, you have to Save the file, then Open it.
4. That's it!

How to start a Game (Host)

1. Once you have at least 2 players in a room a Start button will appear. You can start at this point or wait for more users.
2. You will receive a download in your browser.
- If you have a pop-up blocker you may need to allow the download.
- Internet Explorer users, once you see the Run/Save box, click on Run. You will have to click Run twice.
- Firefox users, you have to Save the file, then Open it.

What the download file does

1. If you don't have the launcher installed, it will install it.
2. If there is an updated launcher, it will install it.
3. Launches the game

How do I leave a room
1. Click on the little door icon in the upper right hand corner of the Games box.

specify if you're trying Match Maker through the in-game menu or the lspn matchmaker site?

The in game Match Maker will not let you sign in . So that is one problem . The lspn site Match Maker says download failed . You try it a couple of times and the same thing all the time .. The in game Match Maker will not let you type or talk if not signed in . If you apply for a new name ::: will you be messing up the original one you have on the tour . You should be able to use the same for all ...

lol. no one's getting a lot of help from me, because i know absolutely nothing about multiplayer, direct connection, or match maker. but i've seen great posts from murray, et al, on the subject.

chris is correct, the techie forums are probably better. but it gets awfully lonely down there sometimes. (8

It sounds to me like you are trying to play matchmaker found with-in the Links game, but you say you followed lstouradmins instructions.

His instructions are for the matchmaker tab found on this site, what one are you trying to access, if it's this sites MM, I've never bothered to jump through all the hoops needed to be successful, I've always used the one found in the game.

Sorry for all the questions/answers but it's nice to know if we're dealing with a dog or cat before I guess as to the breed
