first of all, i wanna say i'm depressed mount juliet is discontinued at linkcorner. great course.

i started out by barely missing the first snap a little late, got into the rough, then plugged a flop-something into the front bunker trying to pull off the miracle shot, ending up with a bogey. 2nd tee shot, same thing, in the rough behind the trees, only this time, a flop something didn't make it over the dark forest. i needed a flashlight to get out with a double. teed up a flop 5 for the par 3 3rd, tugged it just a little, short in the water. KNEW that was the right club, immediately hit the same shot...wait a minute, caddy gave me a driver instead of the flop 5!!! tapped in to finish off a triple.

now i've had lots of bad starts, but +6 in the first 3 holes is a [censored]-kicker. but i really like this course. and i was determined to finish. ended with no more bogeys and a -1. not very competitive in a handicap tournament, but very satisfying nonetheless. (8
