Hi all, :D
just wondering what soundscripts other players like to use during play??.

I like "Natural Wall of Sound" and "UK Tribute", tried to install the new "tksAugust06", took ages to download as a massive, almost 900mb! but couldn't get it to work, maybe will have to download again :(
I think there is a new "UK Tribute" soon to be released, a big thankyou to it's author BladeSteve for all the hard work :!:

I don't like to use any sound. Either have the tv on or listen to tunes.

i'm with grim'. the only wall of sound i hear while playing links is coming from surround sound. i can occasionally pick up a faint main sound, if'n ya know what i mean.

aye! have altec lansing ada 975's or something like that. The sub is larger than my tower, dolby 5.1 and all that. Sounds so much better than my stereo, though that was bought at Radio Shack in the 70's, lol.

i prefer headphones myself (as an old audio engineer). i disable any spoken commentary (yeah, you still get an idiotic "you d'man" every once in a while from the gallery) because that's the stuff that gets old fast. increasingly, in the last two years, many apcd designers have put out some quite sophisticated and subtle ambient sound files that are well balanced accoustically and with warm realistic stereo imaging that add a lot to the playing experience.

vis-a-vis listening to verdi or zztop while playing, while i myself would find it pretty weird not to at least hear the club hitting the ball during play, i guess you can get used to almost anything. lw

I have never used any of the soundscripts. I opt for listening to Little River Band, Huey Lewis, Alan Jackson, Vince Gill, maybe even Andrea Bocelli's Romanza while I'm playing a round. And every once in a while I hear the club hit the ball.

I tried ZZTop, Lynard Skynard, Marshall Tucker, Jeff Healy, but found I lost concentration way too easy. ;=}

Yep, I enjoy listening to some of my favorite tunes during a round of links as well. But how about this...
I was playing golf last week in the weekly comp at my local club and was grouped with this old fella who listened to Mozart on his ipod during the entire round, says it helps him relax and concentrate, this guy is 76yrs old and plays off a 9 handicap!
