Of course I understand the diff between the gamer versus golfer mentality, but we can still harass them.

What's with people's need to CONSTANTLY say that they "play for fun" ??
Don't we all play this game for "fun"? Or is it a cop-out...basically saying "I don't do well at this game, so I'll say I just play for fun...to make excuses for my poor scores". I've never understood the incessant need for "I play for fun". WE ALL PLAY FOR FUN OR ELSE WE WOULDNT BE HERE!!!! and, NOBODY IS PLAYING THIS GAME AS A CAREER OR TO MAKE MONEY!!! (Except Paul Willey about 8 yrs ago.)

i didn't say cherrypicking, avoiding windy rounds, or bailing out of tournaments because roy is going to beat you again wasn't fun. i'm just saying there are those of us that don't worry about conditions or where we stand compared to anyone else. true, if i were better at the game, or i wanted to put in time playing practice rounds, or charting howto play certain holes, i might be a lot more serious about the game. and i've had lots of success in my irl sports career, so i don't feel like i gotta explain myself to anyone (as opposed to having a penchant for giving my opinion). once again, subtleties lost on the shallow.

If I was worried that Roy was going to beat me, well I guess I wouldn't play at all. In fact, if I do see that he's put up a great score(which is 100 times out of 100), that makes me WANT to enter that tourney, to test my skills against the best.
I want to score well, and I also play FOR FUN!! Imagine that!! A veritable TWO_FER!!!

By the way guys, I play FOR FUN!!! LoL

ok, lama, ya got me totally baffled. i'm thinking you're twelve, so i'm not saying what i would normally say when someone acts so shallow, e.g. lol & sniffles. but that statement is very insightful. either you're older/wiser than i think, or you were playing this tour when you were six (or your dad told you to type that).

LoL Terrell...was just responding to Westview's comment about LACERS...
in case you can't read. How is my reply any different than his?
My age is none of your business. I don't care how old you are frankly, and have never tried to guess. I would never be that bored. It's a forum, and I replied to a humorous post. The King of Sarcasm himself oughta be able to decipher sarcasm and a joke when he sees it.

What ever happened to DC anyway? :?

as soon as all the events start being windy and difficult you'll know he's back

Bite your tongue gibby!! Other than the few who play Links as an extension of their S&M practice, the tournaments created near the end of the Links Tour were ridiculous!

All I was saying was you could tell the difference when DC was setting up some of the events, almost everything was cranked up. And all that does it seperate the men from the boys, but it also tends to leave events w/alot of unfinnished rds.
