event end date, and weekly stat calculation

as i pointed out some months ago, if a 7 day event is created after 12am of its start date, it will actually run an extra 8th day. almost all of my own champ level Invitational no reQ events have worked out this way, but the extra day has helped many players finish (including me), even if the start date of a new event overlaps with an event that hasn't been completed.

the problem arises in that lspn tour events look to be closing not at midnight sunday 24 jun, but at midnight monday 25 jun. since the tour updates player's stats and rankings early monday morning, they would seem to be based on events which have yet to be completed for another 24 hours. lw

and as another public service factoid, i can, with confidence, based on my own experience over the last few weeks, state that wherever the lspn server now physically resides, it continues, as it always has, to terminate events at 12am PDT. lw
