Stableford Events?

Postby RoyHiggi on Mon Jun 11, 2007 2:30 am

What are the official stableford events all about which seem to only allow for 2 participants?

What am I missing?

It's also a P2P course, which I don't think should be used in Official LSPN events. But that's just me.

I also agree there should be no P2P events in Official LSPN events.

First, 2 players was a mistake. Fixed now. As for P2P courses, to be honest, I'm not sure which are P2P in our list of courses.

Mark, I put (P2P) after the course name.

Just a quick question to those who don't want p2p's as official events, would this also include the older (LS) courses, which are also "p2p" courses?

Ernie, my issue with P2P courses in the official events is that it give the impression that the tour is sponsoring the designer and forcing us to pay an individual so we can play that event. Now with that said I do support designer sites such as APCD Tours and take advantage of their courses, but also don't support them being in the LSPN Official Tour events. And yes I do think the all the original Access and Microsoft courses can be used. These are the courses that grew Links to what it is and the money doesn't go into a single persons pocket. I do understand that these designer put out some of the best courses there are, but me personally I won't give them my money, but I'll support a site that help all of them with tips, trick, and technics.

And that all I have to say about this.
