Database purge

Postby lstouradmin on Sun Jun 03, 2007 11:50 am

Hi all,

I'm going to do a purge of the member database. I'm going to remove anyone who hasn't played a round or who hasn't logged into the forum in the last 2 months.

So...your member name is safe if:

You've logged into the forums within the last two months

or

You've played at least 1 round in any event.

I'm going to do this on Thursday or Friday of this week.

Mark,
If you have played in the LSPN Matchmaker room will that keep you from the "PURGE"?

I have played in MM and many of the guys dont play in the events or post up.

A purge is a great idea to clear the non entities

Oops, forgot to address that. You'll be fine. You don't need to have posted anything, just logged into the LSPN site in the past 2 months.

You can! Right now the only way to do it is to double-click on a player in a leaderboard. That will bring up the stats page just like you see for yourself.

..like PAST EVENTS for one self?

My understanding of Ole's question is not viewing your personal stats for one particular tournament, but finding all tourneys the player may be participating in.

If I wanted to find all of the tounaments terrell was playing, I would have to scan each tournament, not just click on his name. Granted, when the name is selected for a tourney he is playing, I get all the stats but have no idea what other tourneys he may be playing.

When we go to the "Competing In" tab we can see all events. Not so with tracking other players

hmmm, you could be right, rob, but that's nowhere close to what o asked. possibly since now you bring it up, i'm sure his intentions may morph to something more cognitive.

tracking what tournaments others are playing in doesn't interest me in the least. but when you click on another's name on the leaderboard, you do see all past events that player has played. perhaps mark could (should?) pare that down further for those interested.

Guess that explains why I can't get into the game lobby. :(

Ok - so how do I "reactivate" my game account, without having to re-sign up again?

the fact that you can post here means your account is active.

click on match maker to get in the lobby.

Not necessarily true.

Since I hadn't logged on to the forums for a few months, nor played a round in that time, I would say my username was purged from the game database.

Hence my question.

The fact that I can still get into the forums is non-sequitor to my issue.
