Length of a Season

I thought the seasons were already decided, viz, summer, autumn (or fall), winter, spring, so it must be 4 months in a year, hmmmmmm .

I wouldn't cast a vote on this one because I might be one of those "incessant whining" whiners, what ever. Those that do might not represent the major, so, ??

we've done this same exact thing every year. peeps start not liking the flight they're in. or they don't like their stats. lw has posted this at least a dozen times, over the course of a season (whatever length), peeps will settle right back to where they've always been. it's amazing how consistent it is. then we start the obligatory whining about when's the new season. it's a vicious cycle.

personally, i would have two set 6 month seasons. then laugh at the whining that will be inevitable.

I voted for something in the five month range figuring this would leave Mark a month on either end to make improvements or whatever else he might have on his plate at the time, like vacation.

Youre not talking about the " I'm stuck in Flight D, have been all season, but I'm way better now than when I started, when is the new season starting, I hope soon, but if it does, can I keep my 47 Holes in one stat, cause it's number one, and I wouldn't want to start over, do we need to reregister, we're 1 week into the new season and I'm not flighted yet, there's no tournies for flights either" whine.........are you??

I vote for eight month seasons.

Because that is less work for Tour Admin and it would be very easy (ok fairly easy) to get 4 majors into one season.

This sounds most reasonable to me (with a heavy emphasis on vacation). I voted for 5 months.
