Canadian courses

Postby Cr_Augusta on Sun Apr 29, 2007 8:41 am

To my fellow members.
I try to create a Canadian event every week but I do not know all the Canadian courses available for links. The obvious ones are Banff, chateau wisler, Ottawas 18, glen abbey and stonebridge.
Can anyone help to add to this list or is that it?

With great appreciation to those who reply.

Hi Augusta,

You might want to add:

Royal Montreal - Blue
Le Versant
Oslerbrook

to your list.

Cheers.

claude, jack stewart released a course in november of 2005 called The Willows Golf and Country Club (Lakes/Island) based on the real world track located outside saskatoon. some of the user reviewers were not too complimentary about its relatively unsophisticated graphics, but the course (at champ) plays like a real world track set in some deep woods. it's a very small download (18MB) so it shouldn't be a problem DL even for the dialup guys. i thought it required careful play (at champ click) and it would definitely be an under the radar novelty.

if you look this course up at LC, find it by searching for its designer. for some reason, the course's title doesn't ring a bell even though it is on the list of available files.

The Willows is not on the lspn tour course list, but if you petition warren (tresclub), he's pretty accomodating as far as new adds go. good luck with your canadian series. lw

[stewart also released in june of '04 a model of The Ranch G&CC near edmonton, but i have not played it.]

Got both of then added Larry. Not sure about how the Willows course will do, what with the ( ) and / characters in the course name.

I know you didn't ask for them Bryan, but I added them all in anyway.
btw... might have a problem with the Ridge-Meadows course with that hyphen in the course name.
