Yes, GoesForIt was on the 2-man team from Hutchinson High School, Hutchinson, KS (1963-5). I shot my best tournament round ever at the Regionals at Salina Country Club (77). Unfortunately, my partner who was about my equal normally, shot an 88. We didn't get to go on to State.

I did win a tournament while in the Marine Corps. I was attending Ordnance Officer and Chiefs Course at an Army base in Aberdeen, MD. I entered the tournament and won. When they had the trophy ceremony, they told me to come in civilian clothes. When I arrived, all the ALL the flight winners from the Army were in uniform. When the base newspaper came out, they mentioned my name, but not my rank or branch of service. I guess the Army was embarrassed that a Marine had won their tournament.

Nice pic. But, it looks like you have a reverse c going. I always thought
that was not a good thing. But, i dont' remember why now. Anyway a look
back into the past.
congrats.

Funny you guys should mention that... probably why I pretty much gave up the game. Played maybe 10 rounds anywhere since I retired from the Marine Corps in 1987. 5 hours is too much wasted time.

I think I was channeling Johnny Miller...
