Bill Somrak
Louis William Somrak (Billy), 74, of Madison, Ohio passed away June 10, 2023 from complications of Covid-19.
He was born April 21, 1949 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Louis W. and Helen K. Somrak and went on to receive his Bachelor of Science degree in Education at Cleveland State University.
Billy worked for TT Electronics Integrated Manufacturing Services in Perry, Ohio. In his spare time, he enjoyed flying drones, model airplanes, operating his HAM Radio, and biking. Although he learned to play the accordion as a child he enjoyed playing the keyboards. Bill also enjoyed a homemade beer brew on occasion. With a strong love of history he attended WWII re-enactments in Lake County.
He is survived by his siblings, Robert (Nancy) Somrak and Thomas Somrak.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at a later date at Immaculate Conception Church in Madison, Ohio with burial in North Madison Cemetery.
To honor Billy’s love of his cats, in place of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to a cat rescue of the donor’s choice.
