If you're talking about Harbour Town some that sand is not considered sand like a bunker sand. Links has similar on some courses. If there's no 5 O'clock bar, it's not bunker sand. Can be hard pan or sand.

I thought it was funny how Rahm and the other announcers were saying they'd never hit that shot, and then Cantlay went ahead and hit it close. It did take a little too long to make the decision though. If I was a playing partner, I would've holed out and been on the next tee by the time he hit it.

Hmm, guess I need to read the new rules. I thought I heard an announcer say when a player (not this tourney) was on the other side of the red line that he couldn't ground his club. My bad... thanks for the info
