How are they done (guessing after 16 rounds)?

I've done 16 rounds, so I'll assume the Hcp yet to be calculated an then added to the site, so I can play in Hcp events?

In order to establish your handicap you must play at least 12 rounds in PLSA or CLSC events.

I should also add that if you don't shoot all 4 rounds they don't count any, it must be 3 complete tourneys.

Just to clarify

any an all PLSA or CLSC events

why I'm asking is I've accidentally played one round in the challenging tournament instead of the normal conditions

Unless you shoot the other 3 rounds, the one round will be disregarded at weeks end.

Just the first round

Am I allowed to play in the normal conditions tournament,

rounds 1-4 or 2-4 and forego round 1 ?

Rounds 1 thru 4. Forget about Round played in Challenging.

lol 50 shots off the pace with a handicap, could someone let us know how hcps are done?

Or what am I missing when I look at the over all hcp leaderboard as above 50 shots, off the pace seems a lil odd
(I'm more curious than anything) ?

Your scores look quite respectable to me! I play RTS, too. If you'd like, I'll send you a few RTS tips - like how to fade and draw - along with a few saved rounds to play against. :D

cheers :!:

rephases my question

As my avg is about par for four rounds
how I got to -6 hcp :?:

Been a whiles since I played golf, I'll assume the old 10 cards, best of five has well and truly seen its days?

Its been many a moon since it was explained to me, and since the search engine here ignores the word "handicap" finding the thread would be too time consuming for my liking, so i will wing it from memory. Generally at the beginning your handicap will be about 4 strokes more than your average. Something about potential improvements if i remember right. After playing a few weeks it will be using your best last 8 rounds of 16 links tour sanctioned (CLSC,PLSA,Flight,Handicap) i think, i'm sure somebody will correct me if i'm wrong.
i'd be quite happy to give up 6 strokes per round since i currently give 16 :|
