Can't Play HANDICAP !

logged on to Tour ingame, and went to tee off in Handicap event at Firestone - Amateur level.
but i can't see the event at Firestone listed

the other Amateur events are listed but not the Firestone one .....

and yes i DO have a 19 handicap at Amateur level (listed in Statistics)

any ideas ?

HCAP
The HCAP or 'Handicap Tour' is offered at all skill levels and swing types. Played using Stroke rules, events consist of four rounds and last 7 days. You must first establish your handicap using your preferred settings. Preferring handicap settings can be set on the My Account Page. In order to establish your handicap you must play at least 12 rounds in PLSA or CLSC events. All games are supported

I'm guessing you had not met the 12 round minimum for the current season by the start of this weeks event.

you solved the problem

i DO have an Amateur handicap of 19.......it says that in Statistics

so i went into 'My Account' - as you suggested, and changed User Preferances from Pro to Amateur and VOILA ! .........i can now tee off in Handicap event at Amateur level !

Actually i thought you had done that part there are 429 peeps with amateur handicaps on the statistics page but only 167 that have qualified for points this current season in all 4 levels combined.

Anyway i'm glad you can play Jack.... now go catch that -22

yes glad too......nice course that Firestone - North course !

got that -22 but only stroke score, leaving me net 3 under after round 1 .......a long way from the leader yet. Can't see it happening !
