PLSA Mea Culpa (Blue Lakes GC)

When I picked Blue Lakes, it was because it simulated the foliage/water of The IRL Club at Nine Bridges and I was concentrating mostly on fair pin positions.
What I did not realize was the lengths the APCD designer had gone to to make the course unfair. The primary example is what he/she did to the trees. The tree on the left below shows the penalty paid for hitting the trunk... perfectly fair. Evidently, the APCD designer decided to take that to extremes something like the pic on the right... making escape almost impossible.
If you get in the "forest" and especially the apple trees, about the only way out is to hit a 3 iron, full back in your stance and hope it stays low enough to get to the rough/fairway.
I promise, this course WILL NOT be used next year.
