This movie will address the questions some Linksters have wondered about for a long time; and help the new guys and gals understand their game setting options.

Hi Mike
I don't know what orbster is using
but at work I use Camstudio, easy to use, Totally Free and available to download from
http://sourceforge.net/projects/camstudio/
You also need the Lossless codec which is lower on the same page, you need to download the
CamstudioCodec-1.0-w32.zip file
To find more info go to
http://www.camstudio.org/

Cheers

I was asked that same question in the old forum. I answered it with Camtasia from techsmith.com. Incredible program.

I followed your tutorial on launching links faster. I renamed the courses directory and did everything as shown but when I launched the game later it said I needed at least one course in the directory to start the game. I assume the game is looking for the "COURSES" folder and since it can't find it, it would not proceed any farther. Did I miss a step here?

Yes. You have to go into the course manager, and "go up a folder" so you see your new folder name. Double click on that folder so all courses get listed in the new path to the new folder.

Thanks Orb for your help. I was able to follow the video easily to get my Links to load faster. Now I'm off to wade through the plethora of Tourneys set up by everyone and their brother and find one to play that doesnt end today.

You're welcome Joe. Glad it helped. I have been asked to redo it so the voice does not kick out on a couple of the instructions. I may or may not but if I do, I'll let you know so you pass along the new url.

:D
