PLSA Arnold Palmer

I was had.

On 6, I hit my second on the rocks, short, left of the green (in the penalty area), but didn't say drop. So I tried to ship out from about 54 feet. The ball goes up and lands at about 20 feet still in the penalty area and now it does force me to drop. Figure that one out.

I don't know why I don't stick to this not so old axiom

It's better to have a 7-iron approach in the fairway than a 9-iron approach from the deep stuff. Sometimes it's real good to leave the Driver in the bag.

I just noticed while watching the 3rd round on TV that they got rid of the front bunker on 17. Can someone change that before I start my pro rounds? :D

BTW, pin positions for the final round were very generous (IMHO)... until 16, 17 and 18. While not necessarily traditional, they were tough especially in MC/FC.

That would have been nice as it where I just landed LOL.

Round 2 and fear came into it on a few shots. Shots where you know going left is a no no so you overdo the miss snap on the other side. 17 being just one example but the 1st par 5 another and then that dangerous one with water on the left (can't remember the number but it caught me out). Not a game you can play well with negative thinking going on.
38 yards away and in the deep stuff off the T on a par 3 was my worst LOL

Yeah, my snap is almost early when not hitting the snap. Those holes with the water left I have to aim a lot farther right just in case. Esp. for C/C as the snap is a lot worse. Worked out good most of the time for BayHill.

I'm more a late snapper so holes with problems left get me very nervous.

Look's like a small point field for the Rico Open. C/C that is.
