Hey guys. I posted a question in the 2003 Tech. Forum. Any and all replies would be greatfully appreciated. It has to do with the software lighting versus the hardware lighting. THANKS!

Thank you all for your replies. Greatly appreciated. I know that something as mundane as the hardware vs software lighting causes a crash seems a little silly, but sometimes the smallest thing that everybody overlooks might cause a problem in a game that's over 20 years old. There is nothing more frustrating than playing 17 holes and teeing off on 18 and the game crashes for no apparent reason Anyway, thanks again for your time and responses

I'm sure no one answered because hardly anyone even knows whether they have their golfer setting on hardware or software lighting. Mine has been on hardware since the games inception 23 years ago. Crashes come from 2 places sound and connectivity.

Agree with Echoes. The sound was my problem when I had some crashes. None now unless we have some storms down here and the electric flickers. Try to avoid playing when it is storming real bad.
