Slope Indicator

Just checking to see if I have this correct. The slope indicator on the left has a vertical and a horizontal line. When the vertical line shows the arrow pointing up that means that you have an uphill lie and when it points down that means a downhill lie. The horizontal line pointing to the right means the ball is below your feet and when pointing left it means the ball is above your feet. The green grass is showing the severity of the slope. Is this correct?
Question #2 On the scorecard there is [Mid P PS]. What does this mean?

Maybe we're saying the same thing. I read that as tees/player level/swing type/score to that point

Example Bck | C | CL | -1

Bck = Back tees
C = Champ level of pay
CL = Classic Swing
-1 = Score up to the current hole
