PLSA The Open

If you're wondering why the last round is M/M and MC/MC there are two reasons. 1) Traditionally, The Open has had slower greens and 2) the greens have so much role that I couldn't find pin positions for an entire round that I thought were fair for M/F and MC/FC

Man. Going along pretty good in Round #2. A muscle tic sent one OB on #15... still managed bogey there. Another into the "Dry Grass" on #17.

That "Dry Grass" is really unpredictable... as I guess it should be.

Wow, was not doing so bad with this laptop and then 18. In deep stuff off tee like a lot of other holes and then 3I over the back OB. 4I over the back OB, 5I over the back OB, 6I short into deep trap. All of those OB's came after they hit at least 50 yd short of the green.

Tempting to fake a "crash" and do over when you start out a GUSTY round at a tough course like Troon with a triple. Was all over the place in the rest of the round too. Oh! well, this too shall pass.

I know how Rory must feel. Those last 2 rounds were two of the worst I've ever played in my Links life.

I wasn't just missing the snap, I was gaping the snap (pic). It was demoralizing. 4-putted for a double on one hole where I was inside 10 feet for birdie.

I tortured myself for a week by getting that gap ... so just got a new monitor and thought i was playing mind tricks and it turns out the refresh rate was set for 59.940 well i could barely get half of them from 12 to 6 but anything else was so very off.

turned it to 60 hz and phew

almost threw monitor into the ocean but that would be littering ;}
