With only baseball on the tube and a 6 pack in hand i decided to give it a late go, the density of the leaves on the trees there made me wish i hadn't Sorry to read your packing it in, it added a little life to this slow dying site.

Well, I did do it last year while I was up north but looking to do a lot more while I was there this year. It still may get done but just a heads up if it doesn't.

I have been doing a fire tower challenge, (Adirondack Fire Tower Challenge) that you climb the mountain to it for credit and climb the fire tower if it is still open. There are now 32 of them, 30 when I started it several years ago. I have done 27 so far and good enough to get the awarded patch. 5 to go but 2 of them are 3 hours away to get to them. I do them with my brother and a couple others.

Also while up there as well as in Florida I am a birder. No, not a bird watcher but a birder. Ever seen the movie "The Big Year"? A life list of 537 birds, 412 of them in Florida. Plus, that is where my wife and I lived and went to school so we also do some genealogy while there.
