Been away on a cruise round the Scottish Isles. Fabulous trip but very limited internet. Supposed to land back in Liverpool at 6 this morning but thick fog has made that impossible. Maybe noon now.

We were at Kirkwall on Sunday as it happens. Got close to Orkney GC on Sunday so only we saw it from a distance but I would say it looked in great nick. Wasn’t cold either but a little bit of rain.

too cold for my liking up there Roy
my nephew Chris said as they emerge from a bleak winter, and the temps rise to 12C (50F), the populace don their T shirts and boardies and head for the BEACH
